Mid-Shore Pro Bono connects low income individuals and families who need civil legal services with volunteer attorneys and community resources.

Community Conferencing Project

Juvenile offenders involved in misdemeanor activity including bullying, fighting, theft, vandalism, gossip are the ficus of this project.  Mid-Shore Pro Bono supports the vision of safer communities by focusing on preventing youth from becoming victims or perpetrators of criminal activity.  The Community Conferencing Project promotes accountability for actions and greater understanding of how personal actions affect others and the community at large.

Elder Law Project

Mid-Shore Pro Bono recognizes that a growing proportion of the Eastern Shore residents are seniors.  Elder Law does not just consist of wills, trusts and estate issues.  Our Elder Law Project offers clinics to address the special and unique challenges facing seniors.

Anne B. Gallagher Children's Advocacy Assistance Project

The primary purpose of this project is designed to supplement existing legal services for children in contested custody cases in the five counties on the Mid-Shore. The project will also provide scholarships for specialized training to attorneys interested in becoming Best Interest Attorneys (BIA) to gain a full understanding of how to represent a child in these complex legal matters.
