The Eastern Shore's Legal Assistance Network

Our mission is to strengthen the communities of Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's, Dorchester, Talbot, and Wicomico Counties by ensuring equal access to civil justice through connecting low income indiviudals and families in need of civil legal help with volunteer attorneys and community resources.

Community Conferencing Project

Our Community Conferencing Project, is an alternative dispute resolution process that ensures respect, accountability, and safety for all.  We want our region's youth to feel safe in our neighborhoods, remain in school, and stay out of the juvenille justice system. MSPB's Community Conferencing Project allows community members to develop skills to effectively communicate and handle conflict when it arises. Our goal is to prevent both youth and adults from becoming victims or perpetrators of criminal activity. Community Conferencing is available for incident-based referrals, while our Restorative Dialogue Circles are a proactive tool for engaging youth in safe open discussions. To learn more about Community Conferencing and Youth Based Programs please call our office.

Elder Law Project

Mid-Shore Pro Bono recognizes that a growing portion of Eastern Shore residents are seniors. With that in mind, we want to ensure late-life peace of mind to our aging residents by addressing the unique legal challenges that they may face. Through our partnerships with local Senior Centers, our clients are given the opportunity to discuss their legal matters with volunter attorneys during our free monthly Elder Law Clinics. These clinics are held in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's Talbot, and Wicomico Counties. This program is intended to ensure our aging population is provided with the important end of life documents and general legal advice they need in a safe, secure setting.
